You can not lay trains in a tunnel in the scenario editor.(Railworks restriction).
As far as I know Penn station is under the terrain.

Extra features regarding lights (or bells for that matter) may or may not happen post release of 2012.

Any game play issues please email support, I have added the email address to my sig.

regards

Derek

Yes. Please.

Some more bugs:

- New Brunswick Track 1: station roof collides with train

- Edison Track 1: platform collides with train

- Generally: there are some terrain problems, e.g. scenery floating in the air

Derek's already stated twice in this thread to send those bug reports to their support email address, so maybe that's what you folks should start doing. *!!wink!!*

I'm not saying not to post them here as maybe someone in the community can help fix something, but if they want the bug reports sent to their support email, then I guess that's the thing to do.

Does Steam not automatically update DLC? I thought RSC had released a patch for the "Freight at Edison" derailment earlier today, yet I just had that happen in mine...

Nope that was only to fix the free roams scenarios. (according to the messages on facebook)

There is a way to fix that scenario though (only the Standard one for now), all you need to do is edit the keystone scenario find Train 19 then change the destination from "Metuchen Southbound Slow" to Metuchen Northbound Slow and that will work without any AI collisions ;). (this post is not an official post from RS.com but my own!)

IF the collision is due to RSC telling a train to effectively drive on the wrong side of the road, you would think some basic QA would have discovered this LONG before release...

There is me trying to help you though :), I did find it before but was too late (it worked when tested which is why i'm baffled by that too! (I made this one and can admit it was an honest mistake not deliberate!) (I'm not really supposed to be helping anyone with this only doing this so people can at least enjoy the scenario ;) )

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you. I really do appreciate the effort, and the route as a whole is fun to drive, though I do want to add some things near Philly that I see missing, since I live near it and drive right past 30th st station all the time.

Just a little stressed out over the hurricane that is going to be going right over me in about a day and a half...

In the Evening Clock scenario, the message displayed after dropping passengers at North Philadelphia says "Cornwell Heights".

If I had a penny for each of my bugs that slipped through QA, I'd be rich.
It is pretty awesome that you are taking the time to provide this help.
Thanks!

Not sure if this should be posted here, or in the Scenario forum, but there's a fairly easy way to be able to start trains inside New York Penn station. You start a train on the "queue" tracks, give it a destination to or through NYP, then use the recorder function to advance the train until it stops at an NYP platform. Once it's there, save the scenario, and you can then manipulate the train however you want with the exception of moving it like a normal consist.

I ran into an issue with the "Lucky Northeast Regional" scenario. Part of the way through, you get a message about a passenger pulling the emergency stop and having been fined. But the engine doesn't do an emergency stop - it just keeps going, and you can keep playing. And when I get to Newark Penn Sta, I am about 5 minutes early, which implies to me that there was an expectation that I should have stopped and waited for something or another. I went all the way through to NYC Penn Sta and it didn't seem to have penalized me for not having stopped.

It reminds me of something similar in one of the British scenarios, but there the train does do an emergency stop - you have no choice there. And after the train comes to a stop, if you wait a minute or two you get another message that you can proceed.
