When I deleted the Emerald Mine on my copy of the route, all I did was apply the "eTrue pickable" entry to the bin-file and everything worked; so I'm just as puzzled as you are at this point. All I can recommend, is that you carefully review the steps (fresh start) and perhaps the answer will present itself.

Hopefully someone else can offer some advice !*don-know!*

Yeah I'll have to give it another go, I'll keep you guys updated.

Edit: I tried again with a fresh start and still getting the same results. Maybe if you have the time, you could possibly write a detailed step by step? I feel like I'm on the right track but I'm doing something wrong along the lines. Maybe the way I'm moving around folders or editing them? It would be helpful to see a step by step and maybe we can catch the problem that way.

I think the problem is the Emerald Mine uses stuff from Bailey Mine so you have to go and change the False to True on the Bailey Mine as well then you should be able to delete it.

Just tried that, no luck again. Maybe because I'm editing them in 7zip that can be causing an issue you think?

Emerald Mine Fix.zip

That should do it. Just install it the way you would any .rwp file.

No idea. It took me about ten minutes. I have no clue how you edit with 7zip. I extracted the whole scenery file using 7zip and changed the bins using RWTools.

Why would you need to do that? All of the files are in the .ap. Even if you somehow screwed them up all you have to do is uncheck the route in your library restart everything. Then exit Steam start it again and check the Penn Coal or whatever they call it on the list and Steam will reload it.

Well when I restarted Train Simulator and hopped into the route everything was gone, tracks, scenery, sound domes.

Do you mean reloaded or restarted? Come on man.

Follow his instructions implicitly if you want to have steam load a fresh, unmodified version of the route.

If so, then after 'unchecking' the install box next to the route in your DLC tab within steam, you would RESTART steam.

Below is a graphic illustrating this if you're not following along.

See, I did not know that was a thing. I figured uninstalling and installing than dragging a backup file would be the fastest way. Haven't played this game for awhile and slowly getting back into it, so a lot of it is relearning. I appreciate the time saver Boosted.

I just put what Buzz told you to do into a picture. It didn't seem like you were picking up what he was putting down.
