Believe why it's specifically called a 645D is because the original audio was recorded off a 16-645D off a rebuilt GP38-2, not an as-built.

I have not found any reference with an engine designation as 16-645D. But this is just in Google **!!bang!!**

Matt is correct. I named it that way for my collection reasoning to ensure I have everything separated as needed for different iterations of similar sounding or similarly purposed recordings. It was a 567D with 645 power assemblies on a 905 RPM governor with low idle feature, with liberated exhaust, if you wanted to know specifics.

Very good to know, thanks Anthony. Makes me wonder what kind of GP38-3(?) the audio was recorded off, like a BNSF unit

Wanted to mention that my mods to the locos of the HiLine are now available at
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... =25:sounds

- Sound- and lightpatches for the ES44DC and GP38-2 with and without dynamic brake with sound by MLW/Searchlightsimulation.
There are 2 versions by principle : plain patches as common and a special version with patches extra for the AI and the player (see ReadMe.txt).
- Quickdrive consists for the player and the AI. You can check the packages easily in the quickdrive without modifying any scenario.
- A scenario for testing different locos.
- Custom cabview and headoutviews for all locos and the caboose
- Patches for Krellnut's sounds

I hope you will find the solution with extra patches for the AI useful, if not you have the possibility to use the common way of patches.
Just try them out.

Kris
