I'll run this tonight and see what happens. One suggestion in the meantime is to see if everything on your rig is working as advertised. Go into computer and then check system properties to make sure the system is seeing everything OK and then run windows experience index. I'm still on win7 but am essential running the same thing you are but with a 1060 and rarely see any stuttering.

The stuttering often happens if the sim has to load multiple tiles with many objects. If you use a SSD drive instead of a mechanical hard disk, the stuttering is shorter but it always happens.

What settings are you using in TS? Everything on max? To save some RAM you can reduce the scenery quality (one step should be enough) and try to fly over the area again.

I did have it on highest settings at first, but then i put it on high default settings, which is what I was using on my old rig, and it crashed in that area. I just had in medium settings and it crashed again. Not sure why it would do that. In the high and medium settings the scenery quality was turned down. i do have the game on mechanical drive, but it was on one in the old rig as well, so that can't be the cause. i wish
I could move it to my SSD, but it only has 144 gigs of free space.

Well that is one thing that’s different. I have my RW on a ssd. I recommend it a 250 ones are pretty cheap.

i think i might need more than a 250 gig ssd, since the game is 215 gig, and there needs to be more room for new routes etc.

You are correct. Misspoke. 500 gig just over $100.

What I might do is reinstall the game. Perhaps there is something else that is causing this issue? I hate to do it, since it takes forever though.

I wouldn't do that just yet.

Okay, I'll not do it. I'd hate to wait for the download to finish and then have the route still crash.

I ran the scenario you mentioned in the beginning of this thread and had no problems. Then I ran from Altoona around the Horseshoe back to Cresson on a QD. Neither had a problem. I don't know if you have ever used logmate or not but if you can make it crash just by starting a Cresson perhaps you can try that and see what it says. I presume you have run RWTools to see if anything is missing? Also you might try a cache verify and see if anything seems to be missing.
One last thing to try to isolate this issue is to adjust all your settings to real low resolution and see what happens.

I ran it from a free roam scenario starting in Cresson and when it crashed this time I got a message. This i the only message I have gotten from this problem.

We need one of our geeks to help us out here I think. I'm now switching to something with the computer setup but not informed enough to tell you what to do.
