Can you see anything that should not be in the tender folder?
I have only one coupler showing up on the track.

Getting close I hope.

ermmm ...

all those ATN* folders shouldn't be in the tender folder - they are folders that should each contain a tender folder (and an engine folder). Each tender and engine folder should contain some files and a textures folder.

Perhaps the best way to explain it is to give a screenshot of the NH folders and files.

First of all, here's what I've got on my laptop:

Inside NH, I've got these:

Inside Tender is this:

Inside Engine is:

Let me know if this helps. If you're still stuck, I'll see if I can walk you through it a step at a time, perhaps via Skype (you can pm me for the Skype name), but it would have to be when I get back from holiday on the 8th of January,

!*cheers*!

Thanks Mike
I now have the New Haven tender and engine running and they are beautiful.
I removed the first three folders and loaded up the ConsolidationTenderNo sideNumbers folder after I found it.
And that was my problem.
I really appreciate all the patience you had with me and all of your help.
I hope you have a great holiday.

Mrennie, would you be willing to do a Southern Railway reskin? The lettering and numbers are deluxe gold and I can supply you with a great set of lettering diagrams. The Southern had hundreds of these little workhorses that were spread all over the system. It would look great switching my Southern lightweight passenger reskins.

Hi Bob,

I'm very pleased it worked! Now for those screenshots ... have a look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\71285859\760\remote\24010\screenshots.

!!*ok*!!

Hi Harry,

Sure, I can do that, just as long as black is ok for the overall colour. Changing it to green would mean making changes to the geometry.

I can have a look at it when I get back from holiday in the second week of January.

!*cheers*!

Thanks, Michael. Black with a graphite smokebox is correct. I'll send you a lettering diagram and the formula for the deluxe gold color. Thanks!

About the colour, it's not quite as easy as just plugging in the official RGB values, because RW's graphics engine does some post-processing that brightens the colours (plus, the way it implements the shiny shaders changes the colouring). This means the colour has to be darkened in the source files and then adjusted by eye until it looks right on screen - on the particular screen you happen to be using, that is. I test on two different Alienware computers - one is a laptop and the other is a desktop connected to a Dell 28" monitor. No matter what I do, the colours never look anywhere near the same (the desktop has much more vibrant, deeper colours than the laptop, even though the laptop is a very expensive model). A problem with this is that I can never really know exactly how my engines will look to anyone else, although I get some idea from screenshots that are posted (bearing in mind that I'm looking at their screenshots on my computer, so I'm certainly seeing them differently anyway).

I've found the same thing, Michael. My colors are always darker on the original. Thanks for your help.
