Hi Bob,
Let's see if I can help you out:
1) You need a new copy of the GP9 Xtra kit. The geometry files I used were only added to the kit last week so you almost certainly need to re-download and install the missing files.
2) The model requires the Britkits Xtra pack in addition to the free pack. It won't show up without both. Install the base rwp from britkits first and then the xtra pack if you haven't already.
3) The models don't include any of the geometry *.GeoPcDx files from any of the subdirectories since we're not allowed to distribute those with repaints. That means you have to copy them over from the default GP7 or GP9 directory (depending on the model).
Let's use the BM GP7s as an example. If your directories have the default names, that means your base source directory is as follows:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\RailWorks\Assets\Britkits\EMD\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP7\Default and your target directories are under
c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\RailWorks\Assets\Britkits\EMD\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP7\BM_GP7_1557 and ..\GP7\BM_GP7_1560
There are many geometry files involved. The basic process is to find the geometry files in the default subdirectories and copy them to the same places under BM_GP7_1557 and BM_GP7_1560
\Default\Buckeye\B_Coupling_Closed.GeoPcDx would go to \BM_GP7_1557\Buckeye, for example
Do the same thing for every geometry file in every subdirectory.
Every model doesn't technically require every geometry file, but it's probably safest to get them all rather than having to guess at exactly which model requires (or doesn't) which file.
Once you've done all that, clear your cache, restart the game. In the editor make sure that Britkits -> EMD is enabled.
At that point everything should work!
