searching for nice content, please help

Unread postby ELITE620 » Fri May 03, 2013 12:54 pm

Hi all

I'm relatively new to the rwa forum. I have downloaded a load of content from the file library, the content is just perfect, nice reskins for the sd40 and the es44!!!!

But there are just a few loco's left that I really want to have.
a weathered southern pacific sd40(t)-2 ps: I found a really nice screenhot from varney of an awesome sp sd40t-2, link: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7679&start=45 , this one is perfect!
a weatherd canadian national (and pacific) sd40-2 link: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7679&start=45
I also want the best engine, bell and horn soundenhancements for the sd40 and es44. A nice sound enhancement for all freight cars also would be nice!
Can anyone help me with responding with the links for the best soundenhancements and the download links for the loco's.
Responding would be awesome!

Ps I don't know if my English is good, I'm from the Netherlands

Please don't make two topics About the same thing, the moderators go AWOL !*roll-laugh*! its going to take a while for a response. Anyway, all I can say, is for the ES44, Krellnut's sounds. Horn: 5292nate's K5HL, or the "K5HLL" in the b737lvr mega horn pack. (Woody please don't kill me for saying K5HLL, ik its a K5HLB) Sd40: The one on trainsim.com, guys help me what's the name of that engine? Horn: anything in the mega horn pack,
*&!welcome!&*

Please pay little or no attention to 1225fan3538. The admins understood your questions just fine, there is nothing wrong with your post, and will be sure that you get some good answers.

the SP http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&id=443:sd40t-2-set&catid=18:engine-repaints and CP sd40's are available here at RWA over at the file library (both -2 and T-2)
the CN SD40-2 is still a work in progress and will probably be available sometime in the near future but there is a great repaint pack of the CN SD40-2W in our file library and you should defiantly look into that. http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&id=599:canadian-national-cn-sd40-2-zebra-pack&catid=18:engine-repaints
As for the sounds there is a very very well done sound pack for the SD40's available in the file library right now and I heard there will be some updates done to it sometime in the near future http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=616:emd-sd40-sound-pack&catid=25:sounds. Same thing for the ES44's, there is a great pack in our library which gives 10 unique sound options for locos to get rid of that "jet engine" effect that you get with multiple units http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=149:es44-10-engine-sound-and-total-lighting-enhancement&catid=25:sounds. and again for the freight cars you MUST go with krellnut's wagon sound pack in our library, sounds just like the real deal! http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=151:wagon-freight-sound-pack-v2&catid=25:sounds
As for horns you should get the mega horn pack http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=366:mega-horn-pack&catid=25:sounds by b737lvr, its a pack with many different options for a lot of the locos in the game.

Uhhm, I'm having a few problems, the frieght sound pack doesn't work for some reason, I'm still having the boring standard sounds.
And how do I open files with an . rar and .7z extention?

WinRAR will open both, for freight car pack, you have to go through a few steps if you're using Sherman Hill rollingstock. How long have you had railworks?

I got every thing working, only 2 questions, does the freight car sounds apply for DLC (e.g. donner pass, marias pass), and I'm still searching for the weathered sp sd40T-2 (from the picture) cause its not the one from the file library.

Thanks guys!!!
