MadMike one of our resident ace painters has recently uploaded a very nice and appreciated re-paint of a set of passenger cars in the NIckel Plate Road "Bluebird" colors. Most have had no problem with the appearance of these cars. Some however, myself included have noticed an annoying purple tint to the trucks and roofs. This could be due to many things. Variations in the calibrations of individual monitors, modes of operation, TS2013's lighting, and eyeballs. Now in my situation I still had noticeable purple in the trucks and roofs. MadMike was good enough to look into this and has produced a patch which alters the tint of the blue in these cars. So if you've noticed a purplish tint to the newly uploaded NKP passenger cars please download and install this patch containing some replacement files. As always be sure to back up your old ones first. We're very curious as to how many have noticed this problem and how well this patch works for you.

The correct motive power for this train, a six axle Alco PA, has yet to be produced for the sim.
