Random coupler disconnections

Unread postby xcrosswitch » Tue Feb 19, 2013 6:34 am

Hi All,
Whilst driving a 4 loco with 32 husky freight on Cajon Pass the train is uncoupling behind the second loco and cannot be reconnected. I had it uncouple and then came to a stop, reversed back, and tried coupling at 2 mph, but the static consist of 2 locos and rolling stock acts like a magnet at about 5 meters in, and flies into my drive units and derails the whole train. It has happened on other occasions in different routes with different rolling stock as well. Is there a workaround to this problem?
Many thanks for any help.

Cheers,
Rob K

Default locos and rolling stock? Non-default can make a big difference, couplers, etc,.

It has happened quite a few time to me as well. Various routes, various locomotives. The only thing 3rd party was it happened on Ft. Smith to Hevener.
