Awesome news. Will these have the fix so that RW Tools will pick them up in the scenario editor?

I have no idea. This is the first I have heard of this problem.

if you try to swap out the driver locomotive using RW Tools, the C39-8 does not show up.

Oh, no I didn't get the memo, That totally suck. I did read on his site but I didn't see that he deleted his account.

Yes it appears if you add it in game using the world editor. It shows up on the list of assets but when you hit the find available rolling stock nothing happens. I added it manually and it does show up in a consist in RWTools. Splain that one to me??

I will see what I can do. Unfortunatly SMM marked several files as 'protected' so it will not let me repackage them. I was going to zip up all the rwps (3 in all) with instructions and just let it sail.

I can try to repackage them from the Utilites.

But you probably don't have the latest version of the files. let me see what is going on before any starts to circulate their version of the locomotive.

There is something deeper going wrong. RW_Tools won't find the C39-8 or the RPE4D. I looked at the bin files and nothing is out of place. I don't know what is going on.
