So the cat must have had 10 lives!
Only mystery at the moment is which line in the matrix to adjust to make the numbers display on the front and back of the cupola?
I have the correct height and distance, just can't get them to not display at an angle.

I hope you mean right angle. If so I will post up the matrix later tonight. Again if you look at Kali's caboose example he has done this for you as well.

Turning a child object by hand can be done (I have done it), however it takes most of your sleep and sanity away for about three weeks. I don't recommend it. I wish there was a way we could load a finished model in the asset editor and add/position child object from there. Sadly you can only do this when you have all the source files (most of the time we don't).

Ok!
So close.
Just need to turn the child object so it will NOT be perpendicular to the cupola.
Front side is fine.
Rear is fighting me.

Formulas for rotating child objects are here; I'm not sure I can explain it any clearer than that ( I am definitely not a teacher ). The CN caboose has child objects positioned in all 90 degree angles though, you can copy the right matrix & just fiddle with the xyz numbers.

I can't explain anything about using the libs any clearer either, sorry :S

I am planning to write up tutorial on my blog, but as it turns out I have had no free time to do any of my hobbies.

Success at LAST!
Yahoo!!
All placed correctly and looking good.
Only remaining question is, should I want to use just the numbers, without the C.N., how do I go about making that change.
Thanks so much for the help and information and your patience.
They have been invaluable.

You could send it blank textures, or try the geo file I've attached to this post which is the same array ( I think! it's been quite a few months ) without the prefix digits. Either rename the attached file, or edit the child blueprints to use the new filename, either works as long as the child objects are named the same.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I opted to edit the "secondary" file and that removed the letters.
Thank you for the digit download as this should come in handy as I continue changing up my reskins!
Looking good!
Thanks again!!
