I deleted the Seattle folder but did not remove any assets. I installed Seattle Route V1.1, Seattle Route missing stuff. seattle-hotfix, Seattle Donationware Assets, and Seattle Freeware Assets that I downloaded from your website. Checking the route with RWTools, I had 391 missing assets, most all of them in the Seattle-Portland\Environment\terrain\decals folders. They were seattle, tacoma, and tacoma bay subfolders. In addition to these, I have seven more that are missing, one light spot, two bridge, and four container loader files. I only tried a couple free roam scenarios but they crashed as before.

I still don't know what to look for with respect to trackrules to see if I have that.

make sure you have 3d trains scale rail. that may be the issue. you have everythign yo uneed. your not missing important stuff. I would advise installing the v1.1 from my blog again and not installing the hot fix.

Ian,

I uninstallled V1.1 and hot-fix, deleted the route folder, installed V1.1 alone, and then re-installed Hi-Res ScaleRail. Only thing that happened was that I picked up one additional missing asset - an Otto Wipfel tunnel. I only tried the Welcome scenario but it SBHH'ed.

ok asuming you reinstalled the route i posted on my blog you still need to install the two fix files just below on my blog. if that doesnt work. send me a list of your missing assets. it seemed like you did everything right.

Ian,

That would be the missing-stuff and hotfix files. I'll try the missing stuff first without the hotfix which you told me not to load previously.

Here's where I stand with the route and we can stop this discussion now if you like. I loaded the blog files on a laptop that had not seen Seattle before. With TSX off and the settings on low, it was able to load the Welcome scenario and run it very slowly. Part 1 of the Incoming Freight would not load. On my game machine, I deleted the Seattle folder and copied the Seattle folder from the laptop, which I know works a bit. I verified cache and cleared bluprint files. I set TSX off and the settings on low, the same configuration I used on the laptop. There was no change in trying to run any scenario.

I have to run this route in an Asset set with just this and the SOO Line to get it to work. (Even then south part of Soo caused SBHH) If nothing else works you could try a new base asset set and install the assets for the route onto that. You could swap between the asset sets by just re naming folders.

Fingers crossed for a further extension of this route.
