Feather River F7s

Unread postby buzz456 » Mon Jan 15, 2024 6:00 pm

I did a whole series of F7 based off the DTG Feather River model. The only real mod I did was to the headlight using a Searchlight mod that Kevin did for me. Anyone have any troubles with this particular beast in the recent past? With the changes being made to the sim I was wondering if anyone who has this has any issues running it? It's working here but another member says the headlight horn and bell are not working.
Anyone?

I will check on that for you. I have not recently, no, but I have not run one any distance in the past couple weeks, only the RSC GN EB F7s. I placed some GMnO ones down, but did not run.

I have tried the model again - in editor I get a missing texture square. In game the light comes on immediately and glows. It does not want to turn off, regardless of light setting.

I hope this helps.

That's normal to see the missing texture sign when you are in edit mode. Did everything work?

Since I can't duplicate this I can't help solve this problem unless some jump in here and help me find out if this is a one off problem or something more.

I tried 3 of the F7 repaints.
CN green - No bell, no horn, and the headlights would not turn on
WM - same as CN, no bell, horn, or headlights
LV - Horn, bell, and lights worked. (though i believe they were default lights)
I had all the necessary items ticked

Try the ND A units and see if they work. Also check if the keyboard functions work on the Driver A units.

Have you tried to drive the Driver A units with the keyboard?

The fix is:

Replacing:

The fix works for the ICG repaint as well with CN_Green replaced by ICG
