Computer Refuses to Read Game Scripts [FIXED]

I am having an issue with a couple pieces of DLC where my computer will not read the scripts at all. The kicker is, this is only happening with a couple of DLC only. The rest are A-OK. The DLC in question is the JR SD40-2 and the VRC C39-8. I figured I'd ask here because I really have no other ideas since Google has been nothing of help.

What scripts are you referring to?

The general scripts or .out files in the locomotive's scripts folder.

How do you know this?

because the scripts won't work in the game. I know this because I have no sounds and all the other stuff is wonky

Are you playing in 64 bit mode? It’s been known to cause issues with some products.

I've tried in both 32 and 64. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

If everything is working properly both of these run in 64 bit with no issues. I hardly ever use 32 bit anymore.

Have you verified your game files? Both of these are a little RAM intensive but not excessively so.

I can try that real fast, but I need to back everything up since the last time I did that it reset it all back to default

Update: Verifying did nothing

I managed to fix it. I deleted a bunch of applications I had and one of them must have been screwing with them. I am confused, but happy.
