Yep, the “common” folder only contains the common textures for the well cars.... not the loads.

The container loads are in the “../RailNetwork/Interactive” folder as stated.... identified as GX_Containers01 and GX_Containers02.TgPcDx

That is correct. I was at work when I said it wrong. !!**sorry**!! . Soooo one needs to look and see if their G-Trax\Trains\RaillNetwork\Intereractive folder has the GX_Containersxxxxx bins and Geos are there. As I said before everything shows up here.

That's interesting...I installed the same rwp via utilities, running 64bit. Created a scenario, ticked the G-TraX - Trains box in the flyout and then selected the CRLE01 and DTTX01 cars from list.
I then doubled clicked the empty cars to bring up the load flyout...ticked the load box and the loads appeared.

All the .BIN, .XML, and .GeoPcDx files are there.

Just noticed this thread. I didn't have the double-stacks on my system so I downloaded them from the FL and sure enough the containers wouldn't load. I'm not in a position to speculate as to why this is and why they work for others of you.

Interestingly, the version we released with Stevens Pass, which differed only cosmetically from the freeware release, did work. Comparing the two versions, the files all appear to be present and where they should be, and the path references look OK, so as of now I'm as stumped as anybody. I have some things to do today, but will look into this later on -- probably update the product where needed, then re-export and see how it behaves. When all is working as it should, will re-upload to the FL.

FYI, we used these cars on Stevens because the Kuju double-stacks are oversized and overlapped the tunnel portals. Unfortunately we were forced to use fake names except for BNSF, and we all know how well that worked out. Anyway, whatever I come up with will be a bit more prototypical, consistent with the original freeware release.

I uploaded a replacement pack to the file library; keep an eye out for it!

All cars and containers were rebuilt from source files. I have no idea what was wrong. Sunspots? The new files don't appear to differ much from the older ones, but TS obviously didn't like something.

Some changes in the new upload:
  • Added BNSF cars. Original upload had only TTX and CRLE cars.
  • Replaced couplers with newer G-TraX design with connecting air hoses.
  • Added EOTDs. Reminder, these are fancy "tail lights" and they only appear when the engine's headlight is on.

I just noticed this thread, and would add the following comments:

A couple of months ago I was adding Krellnut sounds to some of my older installations, including this one.

When I came to these DoubleStacks and loaded them in my customized TestTrak Route, I also discovered that the containers didn't load. But I went ahead and dealt with the Krellnut sounds.

These vehicles point to the default Kuju wagon sounds. I already have those sounds aliased to Krellnut. BUT, they only work if the Kuju\RailSimulatorUS Provider box is checked in the Scenario Editor flyout.

As I have done with several other Kuju-dependent wagon sounds (where the wagon itself is not in the Kuju folders), I created a new Audio folder within the G-Trax\Trains folder, created a Wagon Sound.bin file there, and pointed it to the Krellnut Sounds

This worked well, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that that the containers now loaded correctly!

So my hunch is that the container loading doesn't work if the Kuju box isn't checked. Often it is anyway in a scneario, but it can be a pain if it isn't (and I keep my customized TestTrak route NOT dependent on Kuju by default, for testing purposes). So wherever possible if a vehicle (loco, coach or wagon) is not IN the Kuju folders and it relies on Kuju for sounds or other behavior, I try to reconstruct it (usually very easy) to remove the Kuju dependency. That would also explain why the DoubleStacks in Stevens Pass work fine, because they use Audio within the Stevens Pass folder structure, rather than pointing to Kuju sounds.

Just my 2 cents :)

Yep, that was it - Kuju linked. Tested and confirmed.
