I believe you'll need to give a few more details besides "twitch".

It's called 'Z-fighting', and no, it has nothing to do with Dragon Ball Z.

It's what happens when two planes are placed too close to each other and fight for rendering space in games that don't have proper depth buffering.

I did that. I still don't see the issue you describe. However, a z-buffer issue (z-fighting as described above) could be the culprit, something the model's author would need to address.

I believe the issue was described best by BNSFdude above. In that case, it would be up to the author of the set(s) to fix.
