Multiple Unit consist

Unread postby JohnS » Tue Sep 19, 2017 2:04 pm

Is there a certain line of code somewhere that allows locos to be mu'ed? I'm running the P30CH's and noticed the second unit doesn't do anything in regards to the leading engine. The audio and exhaust don't change with the throttle notches like the leader. I've noticed a couple different engines doing this now and wonder if anybody knows what to do so the sound and exhaust work in unison?

You might want to reach out to the Searchlight Simulations folks and ask them. They do a lot of engine scripting mods, and maybe able to point you in the right direction. Before doing that, have you isolated the Pooch as the problem unit? I would try...

1. Added a known unit that does have working exhaust and sound as a second unit behind the Pooch. Does the second unit respond to throttle changes from the lead?
2. Take the known working second unit, make it the lead, and make the Pooch the second unit. Does the Pooch respond to throttle commands from the lead?

Finally, you may want to try uninstalling / reinstalling just the Pooch pack from you Steam library. A fresh install may help. And don't forget to clear your cache (Tools menu). Hope this helps.

That's a great trouble shooting idea. Thank you
