Can't simulate Train Simulator 2016

I have a serious problem with this program of TS-2016 on my desktop since yesterday. I had no idea what is going on with this. Anyway my latest version is ver. 54.5b for this program. When I click the icon on desktop to access the game then key my password in and click to get the program running. But after this all you see on the screen with three locomotives with DoveTail Games logo and below the logo with the companies names across start with AUTODESK SCALEFORM, KUJU, dovetail GAMES, nvidia and fund4games. Can't go in to pick the scenario on the program of Train Simulator 2016. Is there a way for me to remove something in the program so the program can start and more likely to fix the problem then can go on to program to simulate the game.

How long did you wait? It is loading all of the databases at that screen.

I let the computer running with the update of version 54.5b over 30 minutes now. I think that is unusual for this update of scenario. So what is next with this? Should I wait till all the updates done or force shutdown the program.

If you go to your Steam page where it lists games it will tell you if there is a download going on at the bottom of the page.

No download from the site of Steam.
