Missing Tracks.bin on Cajon Pass route

Unread postby cnbalasub » Wed Nov 04, 2015 11:58 am

I am not sure how is happen with the missing file with " Tracks.bin " for the route of Cajon Pass this morning. Last night I was simulating one scenario with this route and no problem to load up the route and scenario then ready to simulate this. This morning I can't simulate this because of the missing file with Tracks.bin in my program of Train Simulator 2016. How can I repair to get the missing file back in the folder of Cajon Pass? Remember that I am very new to Train Simulator 2016 after many years with Microsoft Train Simulator program.

Your help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

John

The easy way to do this is back up your route go into your library on Steam and uncheck Cajon Pass. Close Steam and then open it again and start TS. This will uninstall the route. Close TS, go to the library and check Cajon Pass. Close Steam and then re open it. Start TS and it will load a fresh copy of Cajon Pass.

Load the scenario.
When the error shows up press F2 and save.
Reload.

That works most of the time.
