Google Map Overlay- What am I missing?

Unread postby davedingler » Mon Sep 22, 2014 1:56 pm

I've been trying to find an answer to my problem, but havent been able to locate it in the forums or on Google.com.

I can get the "Overlay" control flyout to appear and move the slider to adjust the visability of the view but no image of the area that I am in appears. I've tried looking straight down on the area and panning out to see if it appears but still no image. I have the API key recorded in the proper slot of the program.

I'm at a loss to find a solution. Anyone have a suggestion?

This was happening back in TS2014 so it's not a TS2015 thing.

On the engine driver thing is a section all about this and gives you a step by step instructions for it. Be aware it is confusing as heck, take it slow. You probably do not have the proper functions turned on at Google and most likely have to regenerate a new number, quite a few people had to a while back. You might also need the Steam overlay turned on, but I am not sure. I know I need it to have the store thing work.

Thanks Bob. I'll look at it. I was finally able to find the google page for the Key that they issued and there are three of them. Don't know if I should delete two of them of just leave them.

I would say delete them all and make a new one so you know which one is active. Good luck.
