Thanks for that info Buzz.

I thought I had it all figured out again, but then realized that some cab sounds were present but not all. Things like the air being released still aren't present. !*hp*!

My solution BTW was to copy the engine sounds like the dynamics from the SD70Pack02 into SD70Pack01's empty audio folder. It got me back the dynamic brakes sounds and some others, but not all...
I know where the proxyxml is directing each engine to draw it's dynamic sounds from, but not the cab and some other sounds.
I'm still working on this. I can't seem to let it die. :D
I started out just looking for a fix for SD70 V2 Volume 2 owners, but now I think it might be possible to come up with something that would work for all owners of Packs 1 through 3.
The overall sounds for the SD75s are better, but I'm not sure how many people own that one.

I have the same problem - SD70ACe and SD70MAC invisible in the game.

I corrected reference to
RSC\SD70Pack02\Audio\Markers\[00]SoundEmitter for SD70ACe / V2
RSC\SD70Pack03\Audio\Markers\[00]SoundEmitter for SD70MAC (V3)

and locos restored.
but they still have no in-cab view in the game

I checked SD 70 Can Sound.xml, there is the same link

<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">RSC\SD70Pack03\Audio\Markers\[00]SoundEmitter</GeometryID>

what else to look for?

I had the same problem with the MAC's. This, from Ericmopar, fixed mine:

"You can't go through the Workshop scenario, but you can go into a standard scenario for that route, or even create a new freeroam scenario to get access to the "World Editor" and gain access to enabling the Kuju and RailsimulatorUS etc folders."

Open a freeroam scenario in the editor, then pick the world editor from there, then from the providers toolbar/pop-out check the boxes for Kuju and RailsimulatorUS.

Thanks!

but why ""You can't go through the Workshop scenario" ?
I fixed it in Workshop scenarios, without cloning. Particularly in Elphaba's "Mountain MACs" and in "West Across Stevens Pass". and It works.

I don't know why but I wasn't able to open the workshop scenario in the editor. Eric suggested using the freeroam scenario and it worked for me.

Either way, I'm glad it worked for you. !!*ok*!!

There is a little trick. If you just add Kuju provider , nothing will happen. To do actual save, you need to add subtle change in the scenario. For example , I add single letter or space to some text in the schedule.

You shouldn't have to do that. After you enable whatever thing you check off in the editor, or any change like a manual engine number change, you just hit Enter. Then close the editor when done.

Than again, I'm not sure I've enabled anything but a lighting fix for a couple of routes in 2014, so maybe something or another is now broke or changed.
