After fussing around for an hour or so, decided to verify the files. Made some nice hot soup and a sammich and tea. Fired up Quick Drive, made a custom QD (neat function, I love it!!!!!!!) and all is well. Like I thought, I musta messed sumthin' up moving/ copying/ pasting files around.

Gonna post screen shots later. Looks good on Portland Terminal! Thanks again Joe. And Mr. Coffee. !!*ok*!! **!!bow!!**

Thanks, guys! This has been a very educational thread.

Only one teeny bit of information missing: Where do we find the downloads needed to complete this exercise?

I'm aware of the RSC GP20 DLC and the GP20 PHL repaint by xdriver, but can find no trace of any work by "Reppo". Can anyone point me in the right direction? I really don't want to buy any RSC DLC 'til I
know one of you local geniuses has hauled out your bag of magic tricks and applied some improvements.

I copied and pasted the GP20_SP.GeoPcDx into the respective engine folders. I can get both engines to show up however, I cannot get them to roll.
Engage the throttle and nothing happens. Do not shut down the engine as it will not start up again. Hey but the paint looks good and you really can't
complain about the price either.

@ JackD, the GP20 that is for sale thru Steam/ RSC is created by Reppo. You will need that if you want to use the repaint.

@ Blue Light, when you say both engines, you mean both the default SP and the "new" PHL engines? I found to drive either it's best to use Expert controls. And verify the Steam cache. I could start and drive the SP engine, but couldn't make the PHL engine move until i did a verify. Also, as the others said, make sure the selector lever is toggled so it shows "1" above the notch number on the control stand.

If you haven't yet, practice running the default SP GP20 a while to get used to it. For instance, there is lag in the throttle between control input and actual throttle up. Little touches like that. I have yet to shut mine down then try a restart, but there is a shutdown procedure to follow.

@arizonachris,

Thanks much for the pointer!
Throttle lag, won't restart, doesn't want to move. Sounds like my aging body. I'm leaving now to satisfy my masochistic tendencies.

Cheers!
