Scalerail issue

So, I've been having a problem with scalerail lately. When I use it to make a route, and then send that route to someone (or myself on another PC) the scalerail doesn't show up. It **IS** installed on the PC's I'm sending it too. So, what's wrong? I already talked to Marc about it and he said to ask you all. Any ideas?
