Paper records? Why not just save a screen capture of the config or you could also use a camera (no flash) to save the on-screen settings...

Seriously now, you have a point, using the script would restore them, if the scenario IDs (the scenario folder names) remained the same as in the old version. Which makes sense, because technically you HAVE completed them. IMHO the scenario author should make an entirely new scenario, not just modify the old version.

Anyway, my advice would be, in this case, to :
1- run the script just to make sure your database is OK;
2- delete the route and install the new version;
3- make a fresh backup of your database and never use the older backups again.

The script is available in the RWA learning center.

Samwolf, keep me posted, I'd like to know if it solved your problem.
If you have several backups, run the scripts for a few of them, starting with the oldest.
