Unit Train - A train composed entirely of one commodity, usually coal or mineral, and usually composed of cars
of a single owner and similar design, and usually destined for a single destination.

Street Runner = On-street running or street running is when a railroad track or tramway track runs directly along public streets, without any separation. The rails are embedded in the road.

Balloon track = Railroad track in the shape of a teardrop used to reverse the direction of a train.

Coke = Solid carbonaceous material derived from destructive distillation of low-ash, low-sulfur bituminous coal. Cokes from coal are grey, hard, and porous. While coke can be formed naturally, the commonly used form is human-made.

Coke Train = Trains that move coke to various steel plants to be used in the steel making process. Usually moves in unit trains.

Coke Runners (railfan context): Locomotives used to move coke trains. Invented by shicoe30 on July 17th, 2012.
