FEC in Ft. Lauderdale - What is this piece of equipment?

Unread postby mikeadams2k » Thu Jun 03, 2021 10:01 am

Hello. This is a screenshot from a live feed of the Florida East Coast, where it crosses the New River in Ft. Lauderdale. I've seen this particular lash-up on a number of trains, and have wondered what the unit between the engines is. Anyone have an answer? Thanks!
