Still in use Buzz. It is Padgate Station, Warrington in the North West of England roughly mid way between Liverpool and Manchester on the original Inter-City line of 1830 (although they have done some work in the area since then!).

Always a sad occasion. I always wonder if half of the folks that turn out on these occasions had actually used the service how much longer it may have run.

LaCrosse WI sometime in the thirties. New tracks were put in in 1940 so the train no longer went down the street.
