Thought I'd drop in and show that I haven't quite disappeared on you guys yet.

During my absence, BLLW has been quite busy with trying to diagnose the first Northeast Classics Series set, and working on two or three others at the same time... Now for your viewing pleasure, (and not yet rolled out of the backshop yet) is the nearly complete Northeast Classics Set 02: Budd 21 Roomette "Inn Series" Sleeper.

Features currently visible include: Operational marker lights (displayed in the "On" Position)
Features not shown in these two shots are: Prototypically accurate Budd Style diaphragms and train connections, and unique autonumbering system allowing the display of car names, car loading numbers, and train number assignments... all done prototypically. The finished car will also have an accurate passenger view to allow you to experience first hand "The flagship of the Blue Ribbon Fleet."

Is that the first car of a new, streamlined Broadway Limited?

Is your heavyweight Broadway Limited complete yet? Would be nice to have both, since PRR probably mixed heavyweight and streamlined cars in its lesser trains
Both sets should be right at home running over the NEC or HSC.

Looking forward to a passenger train that isn't a MSTS conversion, for the textures in RW3 can be of much higher quality than MSTS.

I can assure you: none of the cars in this series are MSTS Conversions. The current train in progress, the Broadway Limited, was all lightweight except for the BM70m or BM70na RPO cars at the head end. Now runs like the St. Louisan, and a few others were probably mixes of lightweight and heavyweight.

For those of you guys keeping tabs on the series here, you might want to keep your eyes pealed at BLLW, as once these 21 Roomettes make it onto market, you'll begin seeing a drastic increase in release speeds.
