From the screenshots it looks like there is a high hood version with no passenger equipment on the roof. That sounds great to me!

Hi Dick...

Looking good, if you like boxes *!lol!*

Dare one ask how the steam fleet update is progressing?

!*cheers*!

Looking good, DIck.
The one thing that's never worked for me are the photoreal textures for the trucks on your engines. They just stand out compared to the body colors of your engines and repaints. They have a different tint, or it's the texture, or the lighting, I don't know. Apart from that I love your models!

If my previous comment made little sense,it was because I was thinking of the GP-7 model from a different author. Even though I have the RSC GP-9 pack,I will buy the updated pack of Mr. Cowan's 9s,when it is released.

Don't worry about any confusion!! It is my usual state. !DUH!

Just another refinement. (More eye candy) The cab windows now open on the outside as well as the inside view (U key)

Now to work on the Phase 3s and the B units. !!*ok*!!

Photoreal has its benefits... *!greengrin!* (actually, that belongs on the SP and needs some darkening)

Warning! Stand by for a slight detour (otherwise known as highjacking) ...

Dick's mentioning windows that open from the outside as well as the inside (does this feature come with a ladder?), I'm wondering whether the possibility of presetting some of these fancy features will ever exist for scenario writers. For example, having engine windows or doors open, wipers running (no, not with the windows and doors open), various interior lights turned on, etc. when the scenario begins? Or, perhaps, presetting any of these features for AI engines at the scenario's start: having an engine sitting around with its windows open, etc. might be interesting.

Just a Sunday afternoon thought ...

I think this would be possible with a lua script but don't take my word for it.

The two packs, Basic and Xtra are almost ready for release. Their folder structure is new so you will need to remove the older version before installing the new one. This also applies to the Basic Freeware version. Actually it particularly applies to the Basic Pack!!!! *!lol!*

I am also going to release a GP7 pack. Lower power and different louver arrangements on the hood doors

So far, so good! *!greengrin!* The old Surfliner commuter power - should say San Francisco under the numbers.

The Updated GP7 has now been released. (Fanfare of trumpets) Remember to remove the older version first. The new setup has a different folder structure.

YOU WILL NEED THE BASIC PACK INSTALLED FIRST.

The link to the Xtra pack has not changed but if you have lost it email me.
As usual, if you are on my records, I will re-send it.
