Very nice! I'm glad you've added a trainphone antenna. Coincidentally, I did a string of PRR repaints a few days ago, which also coincided with my own learning of the way RW files are setup. It took me 10 hours to get one reskin done, but the rest have been a fraction of that. I'm happy to see the improvement in the game since RS. Thanks for all of your hard work, Dick. You've made some outstanding contributions to the community!

BTW-Are you going to install PRR correct number fonts on these for release? I robbed mine from the Horseshoe Curve locomotives...

The PRR did have a handful of RSD5's that didn't get MU capability until 1961. I don't know where they were stationed at, but I'll bet they were good pullers/pushers!

You know, that's what I love about this hobby. I know absolutely nothing about the PRR, but I started to do a bit of research to see if the PRR had any Mikados (hmmm it appears not as such - so I'm also now looking at the NYC and the Pittsburg & Lake Erie), and now it's going on and on as I search the net discovering more and more info, and it's gone way beyond the Mikes!

I was always a die-hard SCL fan, but there's always something in this hobby to lure you away!

No but you can take the credit for a great looking model Dick. I've got a real soft spot for the first gen diesels, and this one just looks the part

You are incorrect on the Mike's.. The PRR had the L1 and the L1a class Mike's as well as some USRA standards as well. The also had some USRA 2-10-2's. There is a couple of great books out there.."Pennsy Steam A to T" and Al Stauffer's book "Pennsy Power.

thanks very much for the reply. I was basing my very scant knowledge on the Wiki pages for the USRA Light and Heavy Mikados:

I thought I read somewhere else that there were a few USRA Mikados in use on the PRR, but not that many. So my wording wasn't that clear or accurate in my post

I was hoping that I could feature the Britkit Mikes on the HSC as we'd actually got a railroad for RW that was in the right time period. I guess I still can, so long as I don't use too many at the same time

Oh..you most certainly can! The USRA Mike's were overhauled..and Belpair Fireboxs installed. The had quite a fleet of Mikado's. I do not know if any of the USRA's were "untouched" before 1953. The Pennsy was quite a road. I would love to see a "semi" backdate NEC...with GGl's, P5 and other boxcabs to run on it! I would also love to see the 70's, with E44 rectifier's..and the big GM6's and GM10's...holy co! I would be in heaven!

Ok I found the Pennsy loco last night, but I'm not hearing any engine sounds, just the horn and bell - a bit like the steam locos which I know you're working on at the moment. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm getting this with all the newly released RS3 locos not just the Pennsy.
