BritKits touch point

Unread postby cnwfan » Thu Nov 13, 2025 12:40 pm

Just an FYI, but BritKits is still around and kicking. I reached out to Richard this past week, and while he isn't doing much in the train sim anymore, the website is still active and he's processing orders in a very quick manner (same day for me). Just wanted to pass this on. Thanks!

That’s awesome to hear. I still need to get around to buying the F3 model he made at some point.

He is great...so much history relating to train simulators, stretching right, right back into the early days of MSTS when he did a lot of co-operation with Rich Garber and his extensive US routes. Top chap :D

I've always liked BritKit's steam engines. Just get in the right hand seat and go without having to worry about the intricate details of running a steam engine. And they fit nicely on the RWA Lakeside route and the Columbia Valley route.
