New Release: ATSF Rebuilt Ce-1 Cabooses

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Sat Jun 15, 2013 1:47 pm

Hi,

A pack of seven ATSF Ce-1 cabooses for TS13 is now available on my website. Please see here for more details: http://golden-age-rails.com/packsrw/atsfce1.html

Included are cars in four paint schemes with three types of friction and roller bearing caboose trucks. The cars have working tail lights, a passenger view on the platform, and as always custom couplers and sounds.

Cheers,
Michael

Bob

I look forward to adding the NERW caboose repaint to my collection of GreatNortherner's payware releases.

Thanks for all the kind comments... and the two brilliant repaints!

There will be more cabooses coming soon(ish)... first in line will be an early 50s Morrison-International center-cupola caboose, but I'm also planning to do at least one of the GN's homebuilt cars. I really have my eyes on the X1-30 series with the angled cupola... see here http://www.greatnorthernempire.net/ (navigate to Rolling Stock > Cabooses > Series) for more details.

I like them! If you ever find time, I'd like to see a Union Pacific CA3 built. They had a red version with a horizontal brake wheel with archbar trucks, then rebuilt them in the early 50s to the yellow with the gray (or a deep purple for a short while) roof, upgrading the brakes and going to Bettendorf leaf spring trucks. Very distinctive.

This on has the newer brake gear and oddball trucks, with an added door. Still has the tapered cupola though.

That photo looks fake for some reason. Kind of like what Mdurdan did to that one CSX the inverse colors thing when you can paint over it in the real picture idk it just doesn't look right.....

The colors are right.... armour yellow and purple ladders and roof, (painted over in sealant in less than 4 years)
