Summer Sale!

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Wed Aug 01, 2012 4:17 pm

Hi,

It's Summer Sale at Golden Age Rails! Throughout August 2012, three bundle packs for east, west, and steam era rolling stock are available. Each summer sale megapack offers you a 33% discount over the individual packs' prices.

More information is available on my website: http://golden-age-rails.com/

Cheers,
Michael

Biking to work will most definitely counter the extra sitting at the PC, yes indeed.

If only I didn't have most of your stuff already, Michael :P I encourage everyone else to go and get this lot, and then make tons of scenarios. *nods*.

Heh, does anybody here actually take a train (or streetcar, or subway) to work? (I don't.) My bike (that is bicycle) is my preferred and also the fastest means of inner-city transportation. !!*ok*!!

I used to live in London, so I did then; the tube was the fastest way to get medium distances other than a motorbike. Short distances used to be the old Routemaster busses with the back platform, once they got rid of those it was usually quicker to walk unless it was early or late & there wasn't much traffic...

Riding a bike in London is lethal, not a spectacular option unless you've got more eyes than a spider.

The way I get to work is by car, I take my car, get onto the highway which usually 50 to 55 at a time. If I tried to take a bike to work it would be closing time before I even made it there, so, yes, it's best to drive where I am.

i drive to work, its only a 10 minute drive from home....but if i tried biking i probably wouldnt make it without getting overworked lol, theres alot of big hills on the way to work! unfortunatly we actualy dont have tracks going to town so the train is obviously out of the option, and the closest place that has a station for via to serve is edmonton which is 2 1/2 hours away.
