EMD SD7s 2.0 Now Available

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Mon May 05, 2014 12:49 pm

Hi,

The updated SD7 engines are now available on my website. All existing packs have been updated and the new PRR engines are available too. You should probably delete/uninstall the existing copies before adding the new version to avoid getting a few redundant files in the EMD-SD7-9 folders.

Except for the US Loco and Assets pack from Steam nothing else is required to run the engines. QuickDrive consists are included for each engine.

Downloads are available here:

I think it looks awesome as well as awesome in the cab as well. But I also noticed that I'm getting this problem from inside the cab looking towards the short hood.

Thanks for the heads-up, I've pulled PRR pack and will reupload a corrected version. It should be available in a few minutes.
Argh! Stupid bandwidth saving packaging...

Yes, I think the engines look awesome in the sim and I can't wait to see the next item that you'll build later, any new engines scheduled for later.

I hope to get my new computer built soon and get my EMC E1 model finished and then get it out as well. At the moment I'm busy looking for aluminum to sell to put some money aside so I can get the new machine built.

Took the PRR SD7 pair with 40 tank cars out on Majestic Falls last night for a quick drive - what a blast.

Thanks so much for the SD7/9's...... Looking forward to repaints for these first gen diesels.

Thanks for the kind words!

Repaints were requested... here's something from the vault... the first of many that Mike and Dan sent me and that I just don't seem to be able to complete in time (I keep getting lost in the many custom-built child objects **!!bang!!** )

I'm assuming this is a weird problem on my side -

Just grabbed these and tried to run a QuickDrive with the BN repaint. Model loads perfectly, however for some reason, while I hear the engine noise rev up appropriately, the engine simply will not move forward or in reverse. Thoughts?
