SP Beet Gons?

Hey Michael, I was wondering if that we could get a little addition to an SP freight pack that is coming out with you know what you know when that would be essential for the SP? The Beet train Gons? As well as possibly a Baywindow SP caboose? *!!wink!!*

I'm intrigued! A classic and fascinating steam era car. Am I guessing right that these were refitted standard drop side (?) gondolas?
It's now on my wish list too. !!*ok*!!

Hi! I have some questions for you SP experts out there concerning the operations of sugar beet trains and the history of their wood gondolas.
-When were the SP wood gondolas first built? When were the extensions added?

Yes. like this one.( Bay Window Caboose )
It would go perfect with my Donner Pass East Redux .
I know there is one in the file library, but I'd like one with working marker lamps etc.
There are other roads also lacking a high quality Bay Window model.
S.P. used them for a long time, so they can have an option for plain or roller bearing trucks.

The marker lamps are easy to add. D/L Harry's N_W caboose. It has the lights.

Yeah, but does Harry's have the roof mounted type like in my link?
Or for that matter S.P's unique disc antenna on the roof?
