Bob, do I understand correctly that I can use a 3rd-party passenger train on a DTG route?
Because you didn't say "only DTG passenger trains".

With Metra running a limited schedule due to the snow storm, Amtrak's California Zephyr passes one of only a handful of Metra trains actually operating. The Zephyr itself is all ready about an hour behind schedule due to needing the D8-32BWH after it's second P42 failed to start. Photo taken from West Roosevelt Road bridge.

Heavily modified, but this is indeed Donner Pass Southern Pacific. *!greengrin!*

It said to use a DTG route, but it didn't say I couldn't be creative. LOL

Rail Fan Appreciation Day
It is a warm July day in Cheyenne Wyoming and Up 844 is taking a rail fan excursion out for the day. It is assisted by UP SD70M 3900 to provide dynamic braking and power for the air-conditioning in the passenger cars
