Sorry, but those videos are a little difficult for my 60yr old eyes to follow. Some narration and a little slow-it-down would help al lot.

Or just use RSBinTools which doesn't care. It handles either equally well.

Doesn't matter anyway: TS2014 is on its way, bringing no doubt its own particular joys and woes. Here's to the new arrival, which is, after all, much more important than that royal baby ...

I haven't tried this with any of the "new" RSC stuff, but I have taken several other ones and switched them back and forth and it doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference in game. Someone who understands this stuff can hopefully jump in here and inform us.

I just saw this but I used mostly 2048x textures for my models. I can cram more stuff onto it vs the 1024x. That's basically it. You can of course get less pixellation if done this way as well. The size however is 4x the mbs.
