Bridge and Trestle Pack ver. 2

Unread postby spec5sx » Wed Jun 23, 2010 2:21 pm

Hello all,
Just wanted to let everyone know I will be releasing a second version of my Bridge and Trestle Pack very soon. Now with a lot more models. It's amazing how much I've learned about asset creation working on this pack. I'm in the process of finishing the last of the models now. I'm also working on some lofted versions of some of these assets for easier placement.

Holy Moly Pam! A thousand feet?!.. Wow. I didn't think that was even possilble. The base width would have to be huge. To answer your question: It's a freeware pack and can be used in any freeware route. A thousand foot version is do-able i think. For right now though, I'm going to finish up the models I have made and get it out so people can use it. *!greengrin!*

May I have permission to distribute these with my own route when it's done? (I can give you details of the project in a PM.)

Great job by the way.

Hello Everyone,

Just thought I would post an update on my bridge modeling progress. I have been hard at work slowly adding more models to this asset pack. The lastest is the arched undertruss in this screenshot:

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a beta release. There are quite a few more models I have in the works including some wooden trestle models. I would however, like to get some feedback from the community before I continue forward. Specificaly, i'm looking for technical feedback regarding design, ease of use, naming, etc. General feedback is welcome as well. If you are interested you can reply here or send me a PM.

Regards
John

John

I can't add any value with technical feedback or comments. But what I can do is pay your bridge work the ultimate compliment: it's as good as your route building! Absolutely fantastic.

Thanks Marc,
I appreciate that. On second thought, I will just finish this pack up and release it. A pre realease could cause a lot of confusion if I were to make any major changes.
