We need all kinds of truck trailers. Even Sherman Hill didn't bother making a new one, they just tagged the old horrible looking one on the new cab.

There's a bunch of new trailers in the RCAP package.
Cheers!

They're not new, they're just 90000ft repaints, and they're only two types. Not complaining but.

45', 48' and 53' - I believe a half dozen of each (generic, Target, Walmart, Schneider. Heartland, etc.).

I still wouldn't consider them new. We could do with some container, logging, dumping, woodchip etc...

I'm unclear as to what you believe to consider new. At least half of those trailers have never seen the light of day.

New as in new type. I do appreciate that half of them are new sizes and wheels etc...

New is new. They're new models with new textures - most of which were not part of ca2kjet's offerings. If you meant "new type", then you should have said so in your initial post. What you said was "they're just 90000ft repaints", which not only is incorrect, but also wastes my time in having to explain and clear the air of misinformation. *!rolleyes!*

Sorry. I should've been more specific. The new ones are cool and have added a higher degree of variation to scenes and I do appreciate them !!*ok*!!

I know exactly what you are talking about Sir, as I used to work in the industry over here in the UK. We have never had any empty Container trailer chassis in the game, of any size, It would be nice to have something, I agree, we already have a British freeware route that includes The Port of Harwich with it's own Container terminal, but, no authentic road vehicles of any sorts, I would personally like to see a 'tug' which is the small towing tractor we have had in British Ports and Docks for the last 50 years, that moved the containers from the crane areas to the storage facilities, but, nobody has created anything within the game just yet, I'd do something myself if I wasn't half blind and getting old, we can but hope that some of our regular building experts may oblige...... *!greengrin!*

EDIT: Further to my little post, you may already have this as it is in both my Kuju RailSim and RailsimulatorUS folders, is the 40foot flatbed trailer which you can put anywhere with your choice of 2x20ft, or, any 40ft container aboard, as per my screenshots, the only other items we have in game are the freeware static containers on trailers as shown below, however, these are modern tri-axle trailers seen in Britain and Europe, unsure if you have this sort of thing in the US, and again they are only in 40 foot sizes.

Several new trailers are in the works, but I hadn't considered a container chassis until now - I'll have a look see. :D

If anyone wants to repaint containers themselves, send me a P.M. with your email address. A while back I was going to repaint some containers, but didn't have the time. So I have a couple of reference pictures that I downloaded. UMAX EMP and CSX in white.

Do you mean like this...?

or like this?

I'm working on these, 40, 45, 48 and 53 foot chassis. Just getting the textures right, since I'm not sure if I allowed to use textures from another TS2012 model/maker or if I need to make my own textures. What container lines/reporting marks were everyone looking for?

Plus, there's this too,

Anybody just a little thirtsy? Like 500,000 gallons?
