Has anyone been able to get J. Cornell's original GP38-2 engine to work in Railworks. I downloaded the RS file without noticing and can get the engine to install and most things work on it except the throttle and brakes will not respond from either the mouse or keyboard. Can someone help me convert it over to Railworks or is that not possible? !*hp*!

Where did you get your copy from? Because I downloaded it from here: http://www.jointedrail.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=89&Itemid=119 and it works fine.

David:
Thanks for the help. I will try your link. I got mine from Train Sim.com. There may be something else happening here also. I am having the same problem with Britkits sw1500 and GP models. All of the controls for the wipers, lights, horn and views work fine with the keyboard, but no throttle or brake controls work with either the mouse or keyboard.
Britkits has informed me that the mouse controls do not work with this add-on.
All of my other add-ons are working fine. I tryed laoding them in different scenarios with no luck.
I am running a 3.1GHZ Anthlon X@, 64bit vista with 8 gig of ram. !**conf**!

yea you have to run the GP-38 in Expert Mode, in the options go to gameplay then control model set to Expert Mode and it should run fine!

HURRAY!! JesseJames to the rescue. It works just fine now. It also solved my problems with the Britkit engines. Thanks a million!!

They work in both the Expert and Intermediate mode, but not the Easy mode. !*YAAA*!
