HLRR Request

Unread postby shicoe30 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 5:06 pm

Hey RWA,

Was just wondering if anyone would be interested in making some custom, route specific assets for my Horn Lake Rail route. I am in need of some specific, very special (to me at least) things that I was hoping to have on the route. The models I seek are either real world things from the area I set my route in, or they are commonly found there. A few taverns and restaurants, some specific road signs, some specific stores/shops and corresponding signs, a few small boats and a small pier, some clutter items, and perhaps a few vehicle models (a few specific cars and an ATV or two). If anyone is interested in doing one, some, or all of any of these, please let me know. If monetary compensation is necessary for your work, I would be happy to float some money your way. In that case though, do know the models must be released as freeware and the only cost would fall on me in the fact that it is indeed a very custom request.

So please guys, I know there's a bunch of talented modelers out there, help a route builder and fellow RW/train enthusiast out. With some or all of these assets I can make the route better by providing a much more accurate feeling as well making it unique. Besides, what's a northern Wisconsin route without bars, boats, and 4 wheelers?

Contact me by PM for more info.

Thanks,
-E

Lookin' good so far! Little info about that place. The Hillcrest Lodge in Townsend, WI. Tiniest, most cramped interior, yet, almost every beer known to man available...at least it seems that way. Have to wait 1-3 hours to get seated in the restaurant section (they want you to spend money on booze first), but the Friday Fish Fry is definitely worth the wait! !!*ok*!! Anyways, thanks for your work, can't wait to see more!

jpetersjr already has a bunch of buildings in RW, maybe he'll stop in here, or you can send him a PM, I'm sure he'll contribute. This is gonna be a nice route, Shi! !*salute*!

Also, spec5sx and Red River Transfer, look up in the Freeware section for housing packs.

Here's a little update, finsihed the front stair area, still need to finish the windows. (Windows are rough to show where textures will go only. Texture windows will be added) Just need to finish a bit more things and then its on to Blender to be made more FPS friendly by removing doubles and properly UV mapped. !*salute*!
