A U.S. Flag?

Unread postby Toripony » Tue Sep 13, 2011 4:38 pm

Unless I'm overlooking something, which I do way too often, I have just realized that there is a glaring omission from the U.S. freeware assets collection........

An American flag on a pole!? !*don-know!*

I'm looking for a substantial flag and pole with concrete base such as goes in front of a school, police, post office or other government building. Would prefer something not too date specific.... a general "latter 20th century" look.

Yea, but don't you think we ought to have a free one?! A Canadian one, too. These are very basic scenery elements; I can't believe I didn't notice it before.

Post me a picture of the kind you want and I'll build one. But I can only do the pole though, since a flag would require some kind of animating to look real.

I goofed on the installer - used a version intended for something else. I just re-uploaded the files, so everything should be a-OK. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Cheers!

Marc it seems I am missing a texture for the pole. METAL_PLATE_01A appears in the shape file but it is not in the texture folder and I get the missing texture message on both poles. The flag is really nice though, so crisp and lifelike.

Thank you, Marc! Every town should have at least one or two of these.
