Building Textures for the Unskilled

When I had my On30 empire in model trains I bought Evan Design's "Model Builder". It is a program to make paper and cardboard buildings. On their website they have this free model:

I used their "S scale" PDF to develop a texture map.

I made a simple store in Pro-Engineer, a solid modeling program. I can make models with Pro-E quickly. I made an ".obj" file and imported it into 3d Crafter/canvas. Using my texture map made from the "Model Builder" I developed this output. I was just trying to see if the whole concept of "Solid Modeler/Model Builder" would work.

I will now try to make a more developed model with the porch, roof overhangs and things.

Thank you very much.

It has been a struggle to make buildings and fathom "photoshopping" programs to develop textures for models. The "Model Builder" program made it possible to make building textures for me.

It is easy to apply the textures in 3d Crafter after importing from Pro-Engineer.

So easy this caveman can do it

My improved store next to my first attempt:

The Trainz version textured in Blender. Having trouble with the Big-ex exporter for Railworks.

Need to correct some minor mapping issues but improving
