Little details... missing or not found!

Unread postby MadMike1024 » Wed Feb 16, 2011 3:18 pm

After several go rounds with my route art director/forgiving wife, I'm getting a little gun shy of saying; "That doesn't exist."

Does anyone know if the following items do indeed exist:
Newspaper vend boxes (Jerry at SMM did some that were part of his structures.)
US rural mailboxes, small large, and groups. Paperboxes a plus.
US type portable toilets.
US Blue streetside mailboxes.
US animals, Moose, Deer, Elk, Various colors of cattle, Horses, Grazing Geese, Turkeys, wild and domestic, etc.
People in outdoor work clothes both male and female. Fisherpersons in and out of boats. Children.
US County Park props, picnic tables, rest rooms, swing sets, firepits, teeter totters, firewood piles, bleacher seats for soccer or baseball, etc.
Crop plants, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, etc. - SAD has some of these.
Flower row crop plants - tulips, dahlias, etc. - SAD has a few also.
A warning decal for the road at RR crossings (RXR).

All of these are minor details that would make the railroads more realistic and artful. The parks clutter would make a scene that would draw the eye.

well the mailboxes/newstands will become avalable at the release of the portland route from G-Trax. the rest would be nice though. i heard that 3DTrains has started another progect but what it is i don't know? maby it is what you are asking for? 1 more thing to add to your list would be modern farm machinery. ZugWare is working on some stuff but nobody knows the release date or can even contact them. (at least i cant contact them *!sad!* ) give it about 3 years and alot of the MSTS moddelers will hopefully switch over finnaly realizing that MSTS is not advancing any further compaired to RailWorks! (some improvements here and there but nothing serious) for example: railworks is still in buisness and creating system wide updates as for MSTS not so much.
LOL i just got carried away there! !*roll-laugh*! RGarber's assets, 3DTrains, SAD, and Soo Line assets are about the only big assette packs we have right now.

I saw all the playground parts in my assets, and I don't have Bay of Quinte. Unless someone else beats me to it I will try to hunt down which pack they are from.

Don't know where or when I picked up this stuff, but here's Niall Wallace's scenery which includes playground equipment and sports fields.

Toldrabald had a bunch of "stuff" he found on a German site, for his WIP. Playgrounds, swing sets, gardens, flowers, etc. etc. etc. (was kinda difficult to find all the stuff for his route, actually, tho I did enjoy trying to beta test his route) The other one you might look at is GOR. That guy makes the most detailed, asset intensive routes, and he finally packaged the assets (look for the BPT route)
Ryzen 7 2700K, Asus Prime X570P, 32Gb DDR4, 2x 1Tb M.2 SSD's, RTX2060 6Gb, Occulus Rift
Win 10 Pro 64bit, keyboard/ mouse/ wheel/ pedals/ baseball bat

There are cows, sheep, and (if I remember correctly) horses, but I am not at home to look up which package they are part of.
