3DS max for train simulator?

Question: (Sorry if post in the wrong topic)
Is there a exporter to train simulator in 3Ds max?
If not, how do i get the file (Model) into train simulator?
Im trying 3ds max for curiosity , i can't afford blender.

But isn't it 3DStudioMax that costs over $6,000 (which is why I don't/can't use it) and Blender that's free?

That must be in the USA.

In the UK, there's currently a 10% discount, which brings the price down to £3,790.80, equivalent (at the current exchange rate on http://www.xe.com) to about $5,541.36. I think we pay more for just about everything in Europe (except, possibly, healthcare).

I got the full versions of Max, Inventor, and Photoshop CC through my schooling in the past.
