Searchlight Signal Specs

Hi, does anyone have any specifications/dimensions of a generic searchlight signal? I'm looking for the head width, depth, and the pole/stand/base height and width. (Perhaps a drawing too.)

Alstom Type SA-1 info is in your mailbox ... additional info for the ladder > the rungs are 15 inches apart

I'm no expert on the subject, but it's pretty much the same as 3 position 3 light signals. The only difference is that searchlights display aspects by rotating a colored lens in front of a backlight.
Of course, what each signal is "saying" is going to be interpreted differently dependent upon the railroad. There are plenty of resources you can google that tell what the different aspects mean.
CIP, on a CSX line that runs near my home, there is a junction with another mainline. In that area, the mainline uses both Searchlight and 3P3L. There is no confusion, as the aspects from both are interpreted the same.

Searchlights can have 4 aspects, lunar (white) being the 4th, as well as the ability to flash any of the displayed colors. A very versatile system and with dual filament lamps, very reliable.
