Need a Suggestion

Unread postby sleepyto » Sat Oct 16, 2010 12:34 pm

Hi Gang:

I have been trying to get this to render properly for over a week to no avail.

I want the frame in the attachment to be lofted, but when I look at it in RW it is a solid tube.
Hope someone has a hint, this is driving me up a wall **!!bang!!** **!!bang!!** .

This is what I export

This is what I get
frame1.jpg

Hope someone can help
John

What shader are you using in the RailSim box and what is in your TxAlpha box?

Read the wrong thing, the entry is "None" in the Tx Alpha field.

There is a shader called:

LoftTexDiffTrans.fx

Maybe that one will work. You might have to add "translucency" to the TxAlpha box, I am not sure so try it both ways.

Note, that I have never done this myself, just looking for ways that might help you.

Which exporter are you using? The default or the "NEW" one.
