Just a thought, we could use a good old fashioned radio tower. Not that cell tower CALLED radio tower, a nice tall skinny one with guy wire like your local am or fm station would have...

Ok, I'll add that to my list. This list is long, so please be patient as I will get to it. Thank you for your thoughts and idea and keep them coming; I'll work them as I can. !!*ok*!!

Something like this: http://az276019.vo.msecnd.net/valmontst ... f?sfvrsn=2

Which actually doesn't have guy wires. Guy wires can be a problem on uneven terrain... I have no idea if you can do strobing red lights or not, but even without them it would be nice to have.

Thank you for the link. I have added it to my list and yes, I do think flashing beacons are possible. Just have to figure out how.

The tower you linked to is self supporting and doesn't require guy wires. A radio mast that does use guy wires, however, would look like this:

Guy wires are easy, even on uneven terrain. The trick is to ensure that the bottom vertices are buried below ground at least 5m.

Use an animated texture that flashes on and off. I have flashing lights on the transmission towers in the Tehachapi route and they look pretty good. :D

Check out the Portland Terminal route. It has this guyed radio tower that has flashing white strobes in East Deering:

Hope this helps!
Best, !*cheers*!

Which would require owning that route.
