DDS files corrupt?

Unread postby dick8299 » Fri Mar 31, 2017 7:20 pm

I have the latest version of PaintshopPro, and the NVIDEA dds plug in, however, the created dds is not right. Instead of the texture made for the model, it is coming out all one color in the preview pane of the Blueprint editor.

This is the texture I created for the station:

This is how the station appears in the blueprint editor preview:

This is how I have the NVIDEA DDS save as set up:

Either I am making a simple mistake, or the NVIDEA DDS exporter in the current version of PaintshopPro is not working correctly.

I have tried to use ACE files, but I had my computer rebuilt and I lost the program to convert TGA to ACE. Can anyone point me to a place where I can download it?

When you export the texture, export it as .png Then in the soruce folder place the png in the textures folder. then navigate to the main railworks folder for a file called rwacetool.exe Run that and then choose single image conversion, then click browse. then navigate to your texture folder in the source folder. once there double click the texture and the hit convert. that will convert the .png to a ace file texture.

Good luck!
