Route update - C&O Alleghany ?

Unread postby Cardinal51 » Tue Aug 29, 2023 1:33 am

I drove this TS route about ten years ago, just before I traveled it in real life on the Amtrak Cardinal 51.

Has work continued on this route ? Or is it basically the same as a decade ago.

Would it still be possible to install this, or will it mess up other things in my Steam-only TSC2023 install?

Thanks

And no it won't mess anything up on your current TSC.

I think that if there is one it's in the download. I suggest you download and then check . If it's not what you want you can always recycle it.

The readme (attached) has lots of info, but not too much about the various versions. It is clear that this Version 5 is still a Beta Version.

Besides this Version 5 installer, also 11 other packages / add-ons need to be downloaded and installed.

Sounds like a perfect job for the weekend :-)

Has the Forum Team considered downloading the UKTrainsim packs needed for this route ? I think that site might be closing down soon.
